Finding Love Onilne.

Some men find love without even trying, whereas others travel the world over looking for that one special person who they can truly love. Why do some people find it so easy and others find it impossible to find love?

It comes down to what your expectations are, some set extremely high standards, usually unrealistic ones, standards that nobody can live up to. Others take people for what they are, accepting their idiosyncrasies.

Usually those who have set very high standards that they expect for the recipient of their affections have a false sense of their own worth. They think that they are smarter, more handsome or wittier than they really are. They don't see themselves as other people see them.

Finally if this type of person finds someone who they think is up to the standards that they have set they will then continually look for fault in their chosen person, this is their nature. They look for the faults in a person instead of looking for the good things.

When looking for love the old adage "opposites attract" does not hold water, you may be attracted to someone totally opposite of yourself but you can be sure that the attraction will eventually wear thin.

People who can see the good in people and can accept their faults will always find love, a love that will survive the difficult times. They are a pleasure to be around because you never have to worry about them always looking for your flaws.

The first step you have to take when you are looking for love is to look into yourself, search yourself, are you looking for love or are you looking for the impossible dream, a perfect, flawless person.

Don’t believe old sayings, especially the one about opposites attract, perhaps they do but when you are talking about people they may attract but they wont stay together. You should look for someone who is similar to yourself, someone who has the same interests and the same goals in life.

When you are lucky enough to find that one person who compliments you, who you can call your other half, don't let that love die. You have to nurture love, you have to keep it interesting.
